Welcome to Definite Designer ("we," "us," or "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your data, especially since our app is designed for young users. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

Definite Designer is a fashion design game that allows users to describe outfits and see them brought to life using AI image generation. The app is designed for users ages 9 and up.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Design Prompts: When you create a design, we send your text description to our AI service to generate images. These prompts are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers.
• VIP Codes: If you redeem a VIP code, we store which code was used to manage your generation limits.

Automatically Collected Information

• Anonymous Device Identifier: We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create a random identifier for your device. This is not linked to your name, email, or any personal information. It simply allows us to track your generation limits and purchase history.
• Usage Data: We collect anonymized data about app usage (number of generations, purchases) to help manage our service and prevent abuse.
• Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used (e.g., which features are popular). This data is anonymized and not linked to your identity. We do not use this data for advertising.
• Crash Reports: If the app crashes, we may collect anonymous diagnostic information through Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs and improve stability. This does not include any personal information.

• Location data
• Photos from your device
• Contacts or address book
• Any data from other apps

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Generate fashion images based on your design descriptions
• Track your daily generation limits (free users get 3 per day)
• Process and verify in-app purchases
• Manage VIP code benefits
• Prevent abuse of our services
• Improve the app experience

AI Image Generation

Your design descriptions are processed by our AI image generation service (FLUX via Together AI). Here's what you should know:

• Your prompts are used only to create the images you request
• Prompts are not stored permanently on our servers
• Prompts are not used to train AI models
• We have content filters in place to block inappropriate requests

Background Removal

When you add a design to your boutique, we use a third-party service (remove.bg) to remove the background from the image. The image URL is sent to this service temporarily for processing, but no personal information is shared.

Data Storage

• On Your Device: Your designs, game progress, boutique layout, and earnings are stored locally on your device using the app's internal storage. If you delete the app, this data will be lost.
• On Our Servers: We store only your anonymous device ID, generation counts, purchase records, and VIP status. We do not store your actual designs or images on our servers.

In-App Purchases

Definite Designer offers optional in-app purchases for additional design generations. Important information for parents:

• All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store
• We do not directly collect or store any payment information
• A parental gate (math problem) is required before accessing the purchase screen
• We recommend enabling parental controls on your device to prevent unauthorized purchases
• Purchases are consumable (generation credits) and are non-refundable once used

Children's Privacy

Definite Designer is designed for users ages 9 and up. We take children's privacy very seriously:

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children
• We use anonymous authentication - no email, name, or personal details required
• We do not have user accounts, profiles, or social features
• We do not serve personalized advertising
• We do not allow users to share content publicly or communicate with others
• All designs are private and stored only on the user's device

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• Encryption in Transit: All communication between your device and our servers uses HTTPS (TLS)
• Secure Backend: We use Firebase with security rules that prevent unauthorized access
• API Key Protection: Our AI service API key is stored securely on our servers, not in the app

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): For anonymous authentication, database, analytics, crash reporting, and cloud functions
• Together AI: For AI image generation (FLUX model)
• remove.bg: For background removal from images
• Apple/Google: For processing in-app purchases

These services have their own privacy policies and we encourage you to review them.

International Data Transfers

Our servers and third-party service providers are located in the United States. If you are accessing the App from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located.

By using the App, you consent to this transfer. We take appropriate measures to ensure your data is protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy, regardless of where it is processed.

Data Retention

• Device Data: Stored until you delete the app
• Server Data: Anonymous usage records are retained for service operation. If you do not use the app for 24 months, your anonymous account data may be automatically deleted.

Your Rights

Since we collect minimal data and use anonymous authentication, most traditional data rights (access, correction, portability) don't apply in the usual sense. However:

• You can delete all your local data by uninstalling the app
• You can contact us to request deletion of your anonymous server records
• You can disable the app's network access to use it in offline mode (with limited functionality)

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy regularly.
